Josh began his career in HVAC in 2001 at Hampton Mechanical, in our sheet metal shop, fabricating ductwork, and eventually taking on a leadership role within the shop. In 2006, he stepped into a Foreman position, directing projects. In this role, he learned how to effectively troubleshoot issues with other trades and General Contractors in the construction phase. In 2011, Josh was able to work with a local startup battery company, helping the facilities team retrofit the research and development site with the proper dust collection systems, equipment, exhaust and fume systems, lock out tagout procedures, standard operating procedures for equipment, and a maintenance program for all site equipment. Then, in 2014, Josh took on a Project Management role with Hampton Mechanical, utilizing the diverse portfolio of skills he built along the way. Today, he serves as Hampton Mechanical's Vice President of Construction. Dwayne has 27 years of experience in the construction industry. He began his career with a Mechanical Construction firm in Pittsburgh as a Sheet Metal Trade Estimator. After years of estimating for the sheet metal trade, he, then, learned to estimate for the refrigerant/hydronic piping trades and how to design mechanical systems. He began managing projects from $5,000 to $10,000,000 dollars in 2005, while still estimating. Dwayne also studied engineering at The University of Pittsburgh while working. His strong work ethic and communication skills, along with his ability to foresee project issues and communicate them to coordinate and control projects and estimates, allows him the ability to avoid timely and costly mistakes. Dwayne's goal is to communicate with professionals and tradespeople making coordination of roles seamless with every estimate or project in which he is involved.
